About Us
I.M.A.G.E. for TEENS, Inc. is a nonprofit organized exclusively for charitable, spiritual, educational and youth development purposes. We seek to reach all girls in the spirit of hope and excellence. Our goal is to give every interested girl the opportunity to try something new despite their backgrounds. I.M.A.G.E. for TEENS consist of a governing board of established women that believe that a youth should be exposed to different learning experiences which would enhance their personal growth and well-being. We encourage youth to “try something new” through an IMAGE experience.
Our Story
I.M.A.G.E. for TEENS, Inc. was founded in 2007. It originally begun as a Youth Empowerment Conference in Sandy Hook, MS; targeting personal growth barriers girls faced daily such as low self-esteem and lack of life skills. Collectively, women empowered girls ages 12 to 19. Since 2007, more than 100 women joined the mission to develop and implement programs and events for girls. I.M.A.G.E. for TEENS, Inc. currently has (2) annual programs and (3) annual events and has awarded over $30,000 in scholarships and prizes to high school girls, and has responded to the needs of local communities and youth for over 17 years. Referencing our motto, we believe and teach that "I.M.A.G.E. is more than a look; it's a Lifestyle!"
